About Bytes of Change

Empowering communities through digital literacy and safety awareness

Our Story

Bytes of Change project was born from a simple yet powerful observation: vulnerable communities, particularly women and persons with disabilities in rural Kenya, were being disproportionately targeted by online scammers and cybercriminals.

Founded in 2025, our organization focuses specifically on Busia County, where we've identified a critical need for digital literacy and cybersecurity awareness. We believe that everyone deserves to participate safely in the digital world.
